As always, the craftsmanship of these fish pins are excellent. This has made me a collector, my display fishing cap has a few fish pins on it now. But there is still plenty of room left for more of these excellent collectable fish pins.
My Murray Cod arrived in the post today. Opening the package, I was met with two surprises.
This Murray Cod is facing in the other direction. (see pic) Not sure, but I did give a suggestion when a request was given for some feedback. My feedback suggestion was having some fish facing the opposite way. Wow… I wonder… lol.

As the Orca is deemed one of the many super intelligent mammals of our seas and oceans and I have had the pleasure of encountering many in my life while out fishing offshore. I have them come up close to my boat, even to have them surfing the boat wave at the stern. It is awesome just to have them do this or just come along side to say “Hi” as it seems while you are at anchor.
When Doon River promoted this Orca Pin, I had to have one at any cost so to say.
I suppose I would have been one of the many first to try and secure this well crafted pin before the limited offer came live. And of cause I did manage this, as you can see by the pic.
Also I would like to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to Lucas, for informing me via email the day and time this limited offer pin came live. I sat at my computer at least 30 minutes before so I wouldn’t miss out. Cheers Lucas, for taking that extra mile for me as well.
Beautiful pin as all the pins from doon river are. Asked my grandson, who I gave one of these pins to, what do you want for Christmas he said more fishy pins. We all love them.
Thanks very much Lucas for delivering numerous fishy pins within a couple of days after ordering. Pins are well made with 2 spiked holders so harder to fall off. Looks great grouped together. Looking forward to more designs in the future. Cheers Chicky

One can say, when the earlier pins came out ie; the snapper, kingfish, mako, gurnard, malin, mahimahi etc... I got hooked to say the least. So now I await for the next pin to arrive. Like a fish lurking around for the next peice of bait placed in front of them... Cheers Doon River Team...

As there is no story to connect the purchase of this Carp Pin. When I started my collection there were several fishing stories and memories related to the earlier purchases. Now I have become a collector, as the fish pins are of a great quality of excellent craftsmanship.
